It is a long walk with smaller kids - bring a stroller and water!

We recently took a 2 week vacation to Newfoundland and didn't hardly see any wildlife, don't know if we just got the wrong time of the year or what. Anyways, this place has many injured animals that are unfit for the wild but still nice to see. The park is amazing because you get to see the animals from a raised path instead of through a fence.

Great place for a walk. Don't expect to see all the animals.

The walking trail is all wooden boardwalk, which is great for strollers, wheelchairs or wagons.

The interpretation centre is terrific - lots of taxidermied animals to see, information panels, a small area for kids to colour and play. The washrooms are large and clean.

A great place to take the kids. No admission cost. A chance to see some wildlife.

One of Newfoundland's little hidden gems.

Almost always able to view animals in close to natural habitat. Good hike to do the whole thing. Well maintained.

The animals are enclosed, there are small information panels to learn about each animal in the enclosure.
